The work views its surroundings as a living system, shaped by the ongoing interaction of human presence, technology, structure and space. Architecture becomes its body, and light and movement reveal processes of growth, transmission, disruption and reorganization. Microscopic structures gradually evolve into networks and larger systems, blurring the boundary between microcosm and macrocosm. Cellular formations echo urban infrastructures, data networks resemble nervous systems and particle trajectories evoke the movement of celestial bodies. Technology is not treated as an end in itself, but rather as an extension of our capacity to observe, interpret and establish new relationships.
Rather than presenting a fixed image of the future, the work captures its emergence as a dynamic structure shaped by detail, experimentation, error, rhythm and constant transformation.
Metanoia is a group of interdisciplinary artists and creative technologists from Czech Republic. We formed as a collective through collaborations on various multimedia projects, from videomappings to light installations. We have worked for diverse czech and foreign clients and light festivals: Dublin Winter Lights Festival, Shining Shanghai Festival, Seoul Light Gwanghamun, the Blik Blik festival in Pilsen, Czech design week in Prague or the Ars Electronica festival in Linz. The interdisciplinary character of the group allows us to explore different digital audiovisual techniques, from creative coding and generative art, through all forms of classic and digital animation, 3D graphics, sound design, and many more.
