Manifold is a mathematical term that looks like a regular flat space when viewed up close, but can have a more complex shape when viewed from a greater distance. It is a topological space that locally resembles Euclidean space at every point. Simply put, you can think of a manifold as a flexible shape that can be stretched and curved without tearing or breaking.
Tomáš Medek is a sculptor who focuses on objects that map the internal skeletal structure of natural entities in particular. At the same time, he is attracted to the scientific view of microcosm analysis, which he reflects through object creation based on repetitive internal structures.
