The Rhythm of the Ocean is a projection mapping artwork that explores the relationship between sound and image through the ocean, understood as a system of rhythms, currents and continuous transformation. Rather than representing the sea, the work approaches it as a set of processes governed by its own physical and perceptual logic. Set to Suzanne Ciani’s music, it unfolds across the architecture as an audiovisual composition in which sound and image evolve inseparably, evoking the fragile balance of oceanic processes in a time of climate change and environmental degradation.

Desilence is a visual arts studio founded in Barcelona in 2005 by Tatiana Halbach and Søren Christensen. Working across projection mapping, digital painting, moving image and site-specific installations, they develop audiovisual works that transform architecture and space through light, colour and movement. Their practice combines a painterly visual language with digital technologies to create abstract environments that evolve as living systems rather than fixed narratives. Their projects have been commissioned by festivals, museums, cultural institutions and public spaces internationally, ranging from large-scale architectural projections to immersive installations and scenographic works for music, dance and theatre.

Suzanne Ciani is an American composer, pianist and electronic music pioneer. A leading figure in the development of electronic music since the 1970s, she is internationally recognized for her groundbreaking work with the Buchla modular synthesizer and for her distinctive compositions that blend electronic experimentation with organic, fluid soundscapes
