The first university FabLab in Czech Republic was created at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Brno University of Technology as a platform for the sharing of university laboratories designed to solve student projects. Chicken Wings is a student team working at the same time representing the Aviation Institute at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Technical University in Brno and CTU in Prague. There are 18 members in the development of the airplane, who then participate in competitions around the world. This year, the team managed a Hussar bit – win at the NFC 2018 in Hamburg with the "Shark".
