Can digital clothing have the same impact as real clothes?

What would your virtual avatar most like to wear?

Come and experiment with digital fashion by designing your own T-shirt for Roblox or a skin for Minecraft. During this workshop, which lasts around half an hour, you will learn how to design for virtual avatars, how to use basic graphics programmes, how to create textures, and how to add your finished T-shirt to the game.

Join VIDA! to discover how science can ‘paint’! At the workshop, we’ll create a milk rainbow where the colours dance across the surface of the milk of their own accord, and we’ll conjure up a sugar rainbow to shed light on the laws of physics. We’ll also discover why some colours don’t mix, how surprising patterns emerge and the physics and chemistry behind beauty. This workshop is suitable for children and adults alike who want to combine science and art into one colourful experience.
