    Amid Space (s)

The experimental project [amidspaces.cz] presents works monitoring the relationship between art, technology and everyday reality. The project explores the possibilities of sharing art in the form of data in a virtual environment and, through a web exhibition, transfers the concept of curation into a virtual context, while not trying to imitate online exhibitions that we have encountered in the last year. In this case, the idea of "being online" is explicitly linked to the physical space in which we are located and to the materials we use every day and automatically. By understanding this idea, the viewer should be aware of his existence between these two environments.

  • Coded aesthetics

    Coded aesthetics

Come discover computer art! In the online gallery Interier [interier.org]) we will present you a new work every day. For the exhibition Coded Aesthetics, which will take place from September to the end of 2021, we have selected a hundred student works from the subjects Artgorithms (Theory of Interactive Media, FF MU) and Art Informatics (Department of Computer Graphics and Multimedia, FIT BUT). New media theorists have combined creative forces with computer science to show you where they can find beauty everywhere in numbers and algorithms. They use a number of original and often their own creative tools [artgorithms.droppages.com/software]. You can try working with them yourself at the TIM stand.

  • EntropiA

    EntropiA

Interactive projections of an immersive nature. The work works with the idea of entropy, the so-called degree of disorder, which is constantly increasing. It visualizes an abstraction referring to the movement of elementary particles, points that the viewer is able to control with his movement. The viewer thus plunges into the ever-increasing chaos.

  • Perplex

    Perplex

Kinetická, robotická instalace Perplex pracuje s principy násobných odrazů, koncentrací a odlesků zvuku i světla.

  • Square shift

    Square shift

The work is based on the classical medium of painting in an expanded position, which is the basis for further digital interpretation. Research into layers, which in the physical environment are an irreversible process of repainting and narration, is changing in different interpretive levels in the digital environment. Square shift thus lives its own life and still oscillates between the classical and autonomous way of communicating with the viewer.

  • Mia

    Mia

Breathtaking drawings that focus on the current social challenges of the world will come to life on the painting canvases of the multimedia exhibition. Illustrations about the impacts of human activity on nature and life around us will literally draw everyone into the action. The overall impression is completed by the noises, the author's music and the lighting of the Černín Palace premises. Our planet and the life on it are changing – faster than ever before. Nine-year-old Mia therefore has a lot of questions: Why do people suffer from hunger somewhere, while elsewhere food is thrown away? What are they fighting for? How do we affect nature and animals? So he and his grandmother and parents are trying to figure out how they can help the planet. Although it is not a simple conversation, in the end they come to a promising conclusion: we can live on Earth in such a way that we can preserve its beauty for future generations.

The work deals with the artistic processing of the 3D network topology. The object is based on a self-portrait 3D scan and its polygon mesh topology. The implementation is performed in a steel polygon mesh of the developed body surface in such a way that the individual polygons are loosely connected, so that the mesh is as flexible as the contracted human skin.

  • Tetraptych

    Tetraptych

  • This roadtrip doesn’t exist

    This roadtrip doesn’t exist

A project that would probably be difficult to create without a lockdown. Landscape photography, especially as a document of the place and course of the road trip I undertake, is a frequent and grateful motive for me. Unfortunately, due to the current situation, I was not allowed to leave the city where I live, so I had to work completely differently. If I can't go on a trip, artificial intelligence will go.

  • Re-coding

    Re-coding
