Workshop for children – upper primary school (6th–9th grade)
AI is no longer just a technology of the future — it’s a magical tool that can enrich our creativity. In this hands-on and playful workshop, students will explore how artificial intelligence can be used to create artworks, music, texts, and animations. Together we will discover how AI works while producing our own outputs that connect technology and art. The aim is to show that AI is not only useful, but also fun and inspiring.
What children will learn:
- AI basics – What artificial intelligence is and how it works in everyday life, including safe online behavior
- Drawing and creating images with AI – Practical use of popular applications
- Music with AI – Using simple AI tools
- Generating texts and stories – Practical work with an AI chatbot
- Group project – AI creative portfolio
What participants will need:
- Computer/laptop with a camera and internet connection
- Personal smartphone with Wi-Fi or mobile data
- Headphones
- Gmail address for application registration
Bára Karpišková is a lecturer and creator of educational materials. She works as a teacher at SVČ Lužánky, an education project manager, and a course developer with experience teaching at elementary schools and working on projects for children at risk of school failure. Within AI for Kids, she contributes to the development of the Tiny app and the creation of the AI curriculum, particularly in methodologies for teaching artificial intelligence at the primary school level.
