Circular Cubes

VISUALOVE – Magdaléna Bláhová, Ondřej Bulva, Zuzana Martincová, Michal Okleštěk, Jan Machát

In the raw core of a concrete underground reservoir, a monumental audiovisual installation is born, connecting the industrial past with a vision of a sustainable future. Geometrically pure cubes, built from recycled light tubes originally used in the Brno Garlands project, find a new life here.

This luminous organism, pulsing to the rhythm of shifting visual sequences, is embedded within the unique acoustics of the reservoir, where the walls transform into resonating membranes. A site-specific musical composition respects the complexity of the space and its echoing soundscape. The result is a multilayered performance that transcends the boundaries of visual art, music, and architecture, inviting the viewer into a profound experience that celebrates creative recycling, ecological responsibility, and the poetics of space.

Studio VISUALOVE is a multidisciplinary creative platform dedicated to exploring new forms of visual expression. In their work, they combine light, image, sound, architecture, and interactive elements into spatial installations and experiences that engage all the senses and open space for imagination and emotion.
They are interested in the dialogue between technology and art, between space and the viewer. Each project is seen as an opportunity to experiment and push the boundaries of how stories and ideas can be shared through audiovisual media.
